SFSC Tryout
Procedure
SFSC
tryouts will be conducted by the Head Coach of the age group you are trying out
for as well as other members of the SFSC coaching staff. Please make sure
you arrive at least 20 minutes early for tryouts and sign in at your designated
field. Each age group will have two tryouts during the designated
week. We recommend that each child participates in as many tryouts as
possible. Upon completion of the last tryout all kids will be contacted
by either the coach or manager and notified the position they have made within
24 hours. It is important that each player is ready to accept the
position when offered as it will effect other players trying out for the
team. SFSC will make every attempt to offer players positions on a
team. However, there may be some cases where it is not possible to offer
a spot to individuals. If any of the tryouts are cancelled, or if an
additional tryout is needed you will be notified by the Coach at the last
tryout. This will also be posted on our website www.stfrancissoccer.com .
SFSC Organizational Meeting
Within one week of being
selected for the team an administrative meeting will be held. The following
items will be collected at this meeting.

*A copy of the player’s birth certificate.
|
|
|
*Medical insurance information that will be used to fill out
medical release forms.
|
|
|
*One current postage size picture of your child for player card.
|
|
|
*A check made out to SFSC for $300 will be expected for each
player.
These fees will pay for registration with the club, league and
the state association. Other team fees will apply for your
season. This is a non-refundable initial deposit to reserve your child
a spot on the team and does not include other team fees.
